From Mainsheet...
Gary Wood and Dorothy Cloud-Wood (Feb., 1989) describe a race to Catalina, in which
Gigolo (#97) found herself in a gale -- and made 16.4 kts with a double-reefed
main.
Tammy White (Aug., 1989) describes a Tortugas visit in which the puzzled sailors
witnessed a very rare Florida appearance of the Aurora Borealis, which was
initially taken to be evidence of some type of mainland nuclear mishap.
"Bo" Nanna describes Caliban's visit to the Desolation Sound Marine Park
in British Columbia, CA (Aug., 1989).
